Uncovering Personalities with the Braig Brothers

Uncovering personalities with the Braig Brothers is a series of podcasts created by the Braig Brothers that brings inspiring conversations with people who are making a difference in their communities. Each episode introduces unique voices — artists, activists, educators, innovators — who share their life stories, struggles, and achievements.

Throughout this series, Aiky and Tales Braig open a space for dialogue and connection, giving visibility to personal journeys that reflect broader social, cultural, and artistic movements in Brazil and beyond.

Our mission with Uncovering Personalities is to highlight the diversity of human experience, inspire reflection, and create bridges between people and ideas.

Silvio Tendler – Legendary Brazilian documentarian known as “the filmmaker of the defeated,” who brought to life powerful social narratives through over 70 documentaries on figures like Marighella and Jango.

Mariette Rissenbeek – Former Managing Director of German Films and Executive Director of the Berlinale, she played a key role in promoting German cinema on the global stage.

Cavi Borges – Producer, director and “Mr. Cavideo,” creator of the influential Cavídeo cultural hub. With over 300 productions under his belt, he’s a cornerstone of Brazil’s independent cinema.
